Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has announced its fitness band launch date. For the last few days, there have been reports about the OnePlus fitness band continuously and now the launch date has been confirmed.
OnePlus has started sending media invites. The company is launching OnePlus Band on 11 January. This is similar to entering the wearables market on behalf of the company because till now the company has neither launched the smartwatch nor the smart band.
OnePlus Band is expected to have a touch screen display and will get many fitness-based features. These will include a blood oxygen monitor, heart rate sensor, calorie counter, and different workout modes. E-commerce website Amazon has also released the teaser of the OnePlus Band.
OnePlus Band will be sold through the company's e-commerce website Amazon. But it can also be sold at offline OnePlus stores and partner stores. Now the question is, what will be the cost of this fitness band?
The price of the OnePlus band is expected to be Rs 2,499, as Tispter says the same. What will be the price, it will be clear on January 11 itself. For Rs 2,499, it will get tough competition from the bands of Xiaomi and Reality in India. However, Realme and One Plus come inside BBK Electronics.
OnePlus Band can offer modes like cycling, cricket, pool, swimming, and yoga with real time heart rate monitoring feature. In this fitness band of OnePlus, a 1.1-inch touch screen display can be given and its battery backup can be 14 days.
